In what sense is Oedipus, through a king, also an "everyman" figure? How might the play of 'Oedipus Rex' be said to explore something fundamental about the limitations involved in being human?
brandon or amy or whoever,
Think about the differences between Oedipus and Teiresias:
Oedipus -- had normal sight but couldn't really "see" the problem he was in
Teiresias -- was blind but could "see" what the problems were
Those are just two ideas about something fundamental and about limitations in being human.
If you think about the rest of the characters more closely, you will find others.
