What Would Be The Coordinates Of The Center Of The Hole In The Paper For The Following?

If a piece of paper is a plane in the X & Y axes & the Z axis is a pencil that is stabbed straight down through the paper at the point where the X & Y axes meet, then the coordinates of the center of the hole in the paper are what?

(1,0,1)?

The truth is the origin does not have to be at 0,0,0. The axis are on a graph to provide reference axis, and scales.

But I suppose your teacher is thinking origin as 0,0,0.

Such is life, and we engineers and scientists have to bite our toungue when near math teachers.
