Homework Help Forum: ecology

what are the reasons for low phosphorus levels in soil? Please explain to me, it seems as if every site that talks about this is saying something different and I really don't understand.

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. Not knowing what you have read, we can't comment on that. The phosphorus level could be low due to drought, erosion, crops that have leached it out of the soil...(for examples)
