Can someone please proof read this?

In A Raisin in the Sun, Lena Younger is the nurturing, ethical character who keeps the Younger family in line. First of all, Lena is a caring mother. For instance, when Walter runs away from his family because no one will listen to his liquor store plan, Lena is the only person who will put Walter's flaws aside and talk to him. Then, even though Lena does not think investing in a liquor store is the right way to spend the insurance money, she puts her trust in Walter because of her love for him. She not only gives him money to invest towards his dream, but also entrusts with him money to put in the bank for Beneatha's schooling. Second, Lena holds strong to her morals. An example of this appears while Lena is having a conversation with Beneatha. Beneatha firsts tells Lena that she believes God to be just an idea, and that he does not truly exist. After hearing this offensive comment, Lena smacks Beneatha in the face. Lena then makes Beneatha repeat, "There is still God in my house." Most importantly, Lena is a character who easily earns the reader's respect. One reason of this is that she defended her family's pride. When Mr. Linder offers to buy back the house from Lena because her and her family are African American, she refuses, even though it would have been a financial gain. Then when Mr. Linder asks Walter to make the decision, Lena tells Walter that they come from generations of proud people. She convinces Walter to deny the money by making him set an example for Travis. Readers of A Raisin in the Sun can easily come to respect Lena Younger's character because of her ethical and nurturing role.
