Homework Help: Math: is this the right answer?

i have to find the midpoint...

the two points too find the midpoint are (4,2)&(8,-6).
the equation to get the answer is...
x+x/2 & y+y/2......i came up with (6, -2) being the midpoint on that line; is that correct?
