Homework Help: American Dream Project

so in social studies we have to do an american dream project witha poster and a speech and also we have to pick a song that goes with our board/ the american dream. I picked "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts (sp?) We have to explain how it goes with the american dream like people coming over for freedom and opportunity. I have a a small brainstorm of what I am going to say but I need ideas. Can you help me?

I suggest you take it verse by verse and explore how at least some of them express the American dream. Life is a journey; each step of the way you experience something new. You survive and succeed, especially with someone with you. Although I think the lyricist meant a boyfriend or girlfriend as the "someone," these words could be interpreted as a companion who also shares your American dream.
