Does anyone know the latest time to take the SAT score so that I can send in a USC app by its Dec. 1 deadline?

Thanks.

It looks like Oct. 4 is the last date to take the SAT and make sure that you have it well before Dec. 1.

Thanks for the response.

Oh, so does that mean there's no way I can send a November or December SAT score to USC after the December deadline? Does this apply to SAT II scores as well?

I'm curious because I know that for the UCs, you can still submit a December SAT score after the UC November deadline.

I suggest you contact the office of admissions with your questions. It will have the most reliable answers.

To determine the latest time to take the SAT in order to meet USC's December 1 application deadline, you need to consider a few steps:

1. Check USC's official website: Start by visiting the USC website and accessing the admission or application page. Look for any specific information regarding the SAT score submission deadline or the last acceptable test date.

2. Verify score delivery time: Find out how long it takes for the College Board (the organization that administers the SAT) to send your official score report to USC after you take the test. Typically, it takes about 10 days for SAT scores to be processed and sent to colleges.

3. Choose an SAT test date: Look at the College Board website or refer to their official SAT registration booklet to see the upcoming test dates. Select a test date that falls ahead of the time required for score delivery. You should consider allowing a buffer period in case of any unexpected delays.

4. Register for the SAT: Once you have identified a suitable test date, register for the exam on the College Board website. Make sure to do this well in advance, as test centers can fill up quickly.

5. Take the SAT: On the scheduled test day, arrive at the designated test center and complete the SAT exam.

6. Send your scores: After you receive your SAT scores, send them directly to USC via the College Board website. This can usually be done by requesting score reports when registering for the test or through your College Board account.

By following these steps and checking USC's specific requirements, you can determine the latest SAT test date that will allow your scores to be received by USC before their application deadline.
