1. Where did you visit during the summer vacation?
2. What did you visit during the summer vacation?
(Which one is correct, #1 or #2?)
(Instead of 'during' can we use other prepositions?)
3. How was your summer vacation?
What did you do this summer?
How was summer vacation?
What did you do this summer vacation?
(Are all grammatical?) The first one is better than the second.
What did you do through the summer vacation? (Is this OK?)
"Where" is better than "what" because it indicates place rather than thing.
You can also use "What did you do during the summer?"
#4 doesn't make sense to me. Are you asking when they had a conversation?
5. A: I had a good time there.
B: Good for you.
(What is the full form of 'Good for you?
Good for you. is complete in itself.
However, you may also say, "I'm glad you did."
#6. The person who answers the phone would be the "answerer". The receiver is the earpiece of the phone.
#7. You could put: on farms, here, in our country (name of country), in our fields..... there are any number of possibilities.
