I am 19 years old and I have hearing problems. I don't hear the right things i.e i ear the reverse or something else but of some similar pronunciation. What could be the problem with my ears?

I'm not a doctor, but there could be several potential causes behind your hearing difficulties. One possibility is a condition called auditory processing disorder (APD), where there is a delay or distortion in how the brain processes sounds. Another potential cause could be an issue with the inner ear, such as damage to the hair cells responsible for transmitting sound signals. It's also worth considering that certain medications or medical conditions could affect your hearing.

To get a more accurate understanding of what might be causing your specific hearing problems, I recommend consulting with an audiologist or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist. They can perform a thorough evaluation, which may include hearing tests, medical history review, and potentially even imaging scans, to help determine the underlying issue. Remember, only a qualified healthcare professional can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatments or interventions.
