My teacher put Marti Gras beads in a plastic beaker she pulled some beads out and let them fall to the ground. It looked as if the beads were not touching the rim of the beaker and was just flying over it. What exactly was it doing?
If the plastic beads and the plastic beaker were electrically charged with the same kind of charge, how would they interact? I assume the beads are very light. When they were "poured" out of the beaker, What would the electrically charged beaker do to the beads?
