Maria, after you have answered these questions, we will be happy to make suggestions for corrections.
i know most of the meanings of the word shown, but i have so much difficulty seeing the differences in the tenses!
thank you! now i just gotta go figure out why the answers are that :]
¡Ay de mí! María the only ones you got right were 15, 16, 19 and 20. Mary is correct except for #13. Because of the "un" which is the indefinite article, I'd choose 3 because this is an indefinite antecedent. If it had been "el" or the definite article, I'd agree with your choice.
Let me know if you can't figure out why the answers are as they are. What it looks like you could use is a review of WHY you need the Subjunctive rather than the Indicative. Here's a quick review:
1. The Subjunctive is used in noun clauses when the main claude contains an impersonal expression, unless the impersonal expression dicates certainty.
2. The Subjunctive is used in an adjective (modifying a noun or pronoun) if the antcedent (the noun or pronoun) in the main clause is indefinite or negative.
Of course there are other reasons, but essentially you are working with these 2 reasons. Feel free to get back to us with questions.
