(-4 7/12) - (-3 2/3)- 1 /24 + 2 5/8

-3 1/2 - (- 1 5/6) + (-1 1/12)+ 2 3/4

8-5*2+6/(-2) this i think i can get the right answer

8-10+(-3)

-2+(-3)=-5 is that the rite answer

2 7/9/ (-1 4/81)- 11/17

-1.5 / (-3) + (-1.2) / 0.6

1 3/8 - 15 2/5 - 2/5 /4

-3 - 2 1/3 / (-1 1/6)

**Ms. Sue**, Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 6:10pm**1 1/2 - 3 2/5 + 8/15 - 2 2/3**

You need to find the lowest common denominator for these fractions. Then perform the indicated arithmetic. What do you think the answer is?

**(-4 7/12) - (-3 2/3)- 1/24 + 2 5/8**

(-4 14/24) - (-3 16/24) - 1/24 + 2 15/24) =

-4 14/24 + 3 16/24 - 1/24 + 2 15/24 =

- 4 15/24 + 5 31/24 = 1 16/24 = 1 2/3

**-3 1/2 - (- 1 5/6) + (-1 1/12)+ 2 3/4**

Your turn. What do you think the answer is?

**8-10+(-3)**

2+(-3)=-5 is that the rite answer

Yes. That's the right answer.

**2 7/9/ (-1 4/81)- 11/17**

Try 1377 as the common denominator.
