Homework Help Forum: Finance-HELP

Posted by BluesKato on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 8:50pm.

In general, can you assume that investing activities generate cash, and financing activities consume cash? I say YES , because investing involves the acquisition or disposal of long term resources used by a business and financing can include interest payments, securities redeemed, etc.... Help? Am I right???

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. In general, you HOPE it will be thus. Lately with the stock market as it is, the investing activities have NOT generated cash!
