When teaching the leave it command, when should you give the dog a reward?

A. While its chewing the forbidden object so it will leave it and take the treat instead
B. The instant it leaves the forbidden object

C. As soon as it comes to you

D. After you've given it lots of praise

I pick B ( because I think that as soon as ths dog leaves the object )
