You cross multiply and solve for x.
24x = 8 * 12
24x = 96
x = ??
Cross multiply then divide. I figured it out. the answer would be 32
24/12 = 8/32
24x = 8 * 12
24x = 96
96/24=4
So X=4
No, 24*x = 8*12
24x = 96
x = 96/24 = 4
Another way of looking at it is
24/12 = 8/x
2 = 8/x
2x = 8
x = 4
That's what i got. I got x = 4. Why you say No?
