A publishing company invited representatives from a certain number of schools to its presentation where it planned to donate 3050 books to the schools so that they would all get the same number of books.

However, 11 of the schools did not come to the presentation. The publishing company still managed to divide the books equally among the schools that attended the ceremony.

How many books did each of the schools get at the presentatation?

3050 must be evenly divisible by the number of schools present (x) and also by x+11.
The prime factors of 3050 are
61*5*5*2
3050 is evenly divisible by both 61 and 50, and those two numbers differ by 11. Fifty schools divided 61 books,
