Homework Help: algebra

did i do this correct and if not can someone help me to do it correct and show me the steps so i know what i did wrong. thanks.
a^2+2a≤15
(a+5)(a-3)≤0
(a+5(a-3)≤3
Solution is -5≤a≤3
