Can someone please check my answers for the following problems.

1. Charles works at the movies. He gets paid 10.50 an hour. Charles normally works 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week and gets paid every two weeks. Last week Monday Charles called in sick. On Wednesday Charles only worked 4 hours. How many hours will Charles get paid for last week? Assuming he gets sick time.

2) How much money will he gross on his next pay check? Base your answer on two week pay.

3) Onion rolls 6 for 1.00, Hamburger buns 6 for 0.85, Rye bread 2 for 1.35, Hot dog buns 6 for 0.69...Jennifer and Scott are going shopping for their mother at Sun Shine Supermarket. They were told to buy 15 Onion rolls, 12 Hamburger buns, 4 loaves of Rye bread and 24 Hot dog buns. How much will it cost them? Also include 8.25% sales tax.

b) 10.46
c) 6.96

    Sorry to disagree, but in #1, I think he would get A, with a day and a half of sick time.

    In #2, $10.50 times 80 hours (two weeks) = $840

    In #3, calculating the cost of each of the items and adding in the tax = $10.46
