2. Assignment: Health Issues Presentation
• Due Date: Day 7 [Individual] forum
• Develop a presentation for early childhood and middle childhood groups that addresses
health issues appropriate for each developmental level.
• Illustrate a program you believe will raise children’s awareness of the importance of
healthy life choices and the effects of poor health choices. What inherited or
environmental factors might change the normal course of child development?
• Present your results in an 8- to 10-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation. Be sure to
include detailed speakers notes outlining the importance of wise health choices and the
consequences of poor choices.
• Describe in 200 to 300 words how your program can be implemented in a classroom.
