What are the formulas for the following:
A. Tetrachloroferrate(II) ion
B.Pentammineaquaruthenium(III) ion

Thank you!

Just write it the way the name tells you.
Tetrachloro means 4 chlorine atoms. Ferrate(II) means iron with a valence of 2.
Then you must put a charge on it.
    FeCl4^-2 (iron has a valence of +2, each Cl has a valence of -1 for a total of -4; +2 and -4 = -2 for the ion).

    Ru(NH3)5(H2O)+3

    thank you
