I have to determine how long a pvc pipe is. The altitude is 8, the base is 12.
How would I go about finding the answer to this problem?
I came up with 8^2*12/2^2
sqrt is 100 which equals to 10
is that right?

If the altitude is the same as the length, then the length is 8.
Is the "base" value the diameter, the radius, the circumference or the area?
