Homework Help: writing

Thesis help, please?
for a research paper, the assignment is to write about the portrayal of injustice in "how the garcia girls lost their accents".
....i have made up a horrible thesis. lol.
Can anybody either help me fix it, or if you know the book well, come up with another great thesis? =]
rough rough ROUGH draft of thesis:
In the novel “How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents” by Julia Alvarez, injustice is continuously presented towards the Garcia girls, when they come to America, by their father, men and Americans in general, which forces them to change/mold their morals (to fit a more American lifestyle).
