Can someone please help me

  • algebra - ,

Is your ã symbol supposed to represent the square root of what follows?

If so, use the fact that
    sqrt 20 = 2 sqrt 5, and
    sqrt 80 = 4 sqrt 5.

Then collect terms. All will contain a sqrt 5 factor.
