Homework Help: math (did i do this right)

find the value of each of the following when a=2,b=-1 and c=3
1)a(b+c)=2(-1+3)=1
2)4b^2-2ac/a+b+c= 4(-1)^2-2(2)(3)/2+-1+3
ans=-8/4=-2
