Did the farmer fly over the oak tree? Rewrite the sentence so that "flock of birds" is close to "flying over the oak tree" and it'll make sense.

Ironing out all wrinkles, the pants looked much more presentable.
Did the pants do the ironing?

The police chief posted the mandate against hubcap theft on Monday afternoon.
Did the hubcap theft take place on Monday afternoon? Or did the police chief post the mandate on Monday afternoon?
