i actually got x=4.
i will show you how i did it..
9(2x-18)=36
9(2x-18+18)=36+18
9(2x)=54
Both answers are wrong.
I get 2x -18 = 4
2x = 22
x = 11
thanks my teacher wants me to show all of my work is any part of what I did right thanks for the help
Your first step should have been
18 x - 162 = 36
After getting the first step wrong, what you do on the other steps doesn't matter. It's over.
