I'm typing my research paper and I'm going to indent the left, right, top, and bottom by 1 inches. what am i going to do?

i have another question, how will I double space it?

For margins, go to Format>Document and adjust as needed.

For spacing, go to Format>Paragraph.

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.

thank you very much.. :)

Another way to do double-spacing is simply to highlight the entire paper (Ctrl + A) and then press Ctrl + 2.

A short-cut!

=)

how will i indent the top, bottom, left, and right by 1 inch? 'cause i am writing a research paper..

To indent the left, right, top, and bottom of your research paper by 1 inch, you need to adjust the margins in your document. Here's how you can do it in Microsoft Word:

1. Open your research paper in Microsoft Word.
2. Go to the "Layout" tab on the ribbon at the top of the screen.
3. Click on the "Margins" button, located in the "Page Setup" group.
4. From the drop-down menu, select "Custom Margins."
5. In the "Page Setup" dialog box, enter "1" inch in the "Top," "Bottom," "Left," and "Right" fields.
6. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

Now, your document's margins will be indented by 1 inch on all sides.

Regarding double spacing your research paper, here's how you can do it in Microsoft Word:

1. Select all the text in your document by pressing "Ctrl+A" on your keyboard.
2. Go to the "Home" tab on the ribbon.
3. In the "Paragraph" group, locate the button that says "Line and Paragraph Spacing." It looks like an arrow pointing upwards with lines above and below it.
4. Click on the button to open a drop-down menu.
5. In the drop-down menu, select "2.0" for double spacing.
6. Alternatively, you can select "Line Spacing Options" from the drop-down menu to have more control over the spacing, such as adjusting the before and after spacing.
7. Once you've made your selection, the entire document will be double-spaced.

Your research paper should now have double-spaced lines throughout the document.
