Is this a good end to my research report (on Albert Einstein)?

On April 18th, 1955, Einstein's life came to an end, and he was cremated, having lived seventy-six years, one month, and four days.

Also, is this a good beginning?

Albert Einstein, a famous physicist of the twentieth century, was born in Ulm, Germany, on March 14th, 1879.
