I have to do an observational study for an AP statistics course. Does anyone have any good ideas?

A classic observational study is to watch a specific intersection that has traffic lights or stop signs. Count the number of cars that don't follow the laws about stopping.

You could also watch to see if teachers call on boys or girls more in class.

How about watching a day care center to see which activities and toys are preferred by boys and by girls.

This site may also give you some ideas.
