Homework Help: English Expression

Birthday Present
I have been with my boy friends for 2 years. His birthday is coming up May 13th and I have 3 ideas. He doesnt know I have been saving money, so he doesnt think I will be getting him anything. My ideas are: A new weed eater. We have an acre and a half lot and he has complained for 2 years that he can't keep the one he has running and he gets so frustrated. A power washer. He has complained that our house siding needs washed and our deck needs power washed and restained. We are remodeling our deck this spring. A new gas grill. He loves to cook out, and the grill he has now is falling apart. The grill he wants is like $200 to $300 dollars, and I can't afford that. I have searched online and found one for $100, but it isn't what he wants, so I don't know if I should get it or wait until he can't get the one he wants. What do you all think?

The only other question is have is this: Do you and your boy friend live in the same house? Usually that doesn't happen unless someone's parents have gone away or something!
