This is a ridiculous assignment.
So the local news reports an ALLEGED use of force by a police officer. Remember that the officer is presumed innocent unless a court finds him/her guilty.
Is it possible that someone accused him/her unfairly and unjustly?
I wouldn't comment on this news story until all of the facts were proven in court. The letter you might write might question the news story.
