I dont understand this...

Quelles sont les raisons pour lesquelles les enfants quittent la maison lorsqu'ils sont plus âges?

heres my shot at it...

What are the reasons pour which the kids leave the house which they are older?

Here's another one..

Pourquoi y a-t-il de plus d'enfants qui sont élevés par des parents vivant en union libre?

Here's what i think...

Why is there more of kids who are raised by the parents live in union free? (I know i definitely got this one wrong... i have no idea at all...)

1. What the reasons for which the children leave the house when they are older?

2. Why are there more children who are raised by parents living in a common-law marriage. (that's what "free union" means here)

If you have a good English--->French/French--->English dictionary, this kind of exercise will be much easier.
