Joe, using only .32 cent stamps and .20 cent stamps, put $3.36 postage on a package he sent to his sister, he used twice as many .32cent stamps as 20cent stamps. How many of each stamp did he use.....please help me .this is driving me crazy!!

if he used x of the 20 cent stamps he used 2 x of the 32 cent stamps
so
2x*32 + x * 20 = 336 cents
64 x + 20 x = 336
84 x = 336
x = 4 of the 20 cent stamps
2x = 8 of the 32 cent stamps
