**Damon**, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 7:59pmif he used x of the 20 cent stamps he used 2 x of the 32 cent stamps

so

2x*32 + x * 20 = 336 cents

64 x + 20 x = 336

84 x = 336

x = 4 of the 20 cent stamps

2x = 8 of the 32 cent stamps
