-52.4576 is the correct answer.

ln9^(x+6)=ln7^x

(x+6)*ln(9)=x*ln(7)

(x+6)/x=ln(7)/ln(9)

x/x+6/x=.885622

1+6/x=.885622

6/x=.885622-1

6/x=-.114378

x=6/(-.114378)

x=-52.4576
