Homework Help: Math

Another equivalent equation.

-8w + 18 > -22

So, I subtract 18 from each side.
make -8w + 18-18 > -22-18
-8W >-40
than w > 5? I don't leave either of the negatives right because negative divided by a negative is positive right?
