Well if the width subtracts from the original dimensions,
then
(20-2w)(16-2w)=192
solve for w.
inside the perenthesis you have to subtract 2 from 20 you should get 18 and if you subtract 2 from 16 you should get 14.multiply 18x14 and you should get 192 and thats how you check your answer.
