Malibu Beach Parties finds that the tastes and preferences of its customers change more rapidly than in the past. The manager is constantly looking for external ideas from customers, suppliers, competition, and the sales force

I think this answer is false becuase sales force in considered internal and not external...am I correct ? Thank you

The customers, suppliers, and competition are certainly external to the company. Because the sales force is in constant contact with potential customers, they also have important knowledge about external ideas.
