850 x .60 = 510
take that number 510 and then
subtract from the original 850 and you will get your answer
850-510= ______?
Note that if you want to find the percentage of a number you have to take the percentage and then divide by 100 then mutiply that by the number you want the percent of.
example:
70% of 200
70% => .70
.70 x 200= 140
and to find the number not included here in the 70% then just subtract the number found from the original number
given, thus:
200- 140= 60
