Can someone tell me if I have the correct answer?

Thank You

my answer: B

**DrBob222**, Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 11:46pmI don't think the question is exactly clear. The TOTAL resistance is obviously 12 + 4= 16 ohms; however, the resistance in the circuit is 3.0 ohms and your answer is correct. I think we can assume the person who wrote the question meant the total resistance in the circuit (in which they are parallel).
