I used the distance formula which I thought was the way I should do it.

If I should not have used this, can someone tell me what I did wrong or what formula I should have used?

d=(2-9)^2+(1-8)^2

d=(-7)^2+(-7)^2

d=98

d=72

(9+2/2, 8+1/2)

(11/2,9/2)
