Homework Help: History

My assignment is to write an editorial for the London Telegraph(Britain).I have to write as if it was the summer of 1914 when World War One began and state what i think are the real causes of the World War One through the eyes of Britain.
Could you give me some guidance or useful information?

These two sites emphasize that Germany had built up its navy and Britain was afraid that Germany was a threat to its shipping and empire. The buildup of German weapons was also seen as threatening to Britain.
