how you would use these steps to create the manual mentioned in this scenario. the steps are prewriting,writing rewriting. Explain the purpose and sub-steps of each step and how they relate to the manual.
This is the scenerio.... As a customer service manager for a local software development company, you want to
create a user manual for one of the software applications your company develops. The
purpose of the manual is to support your customers in purchasing and using the
software.

This is a confusing assignment.

The first question is: How would you use the steps (prewriting, writing, rewriting) to create the manual?

The obvious answer is that you'd keep the goals of the manual in mind as you outlined the first draft (prewriting). Then you'd write the manual in clear terms. Finally, you'd edit your manual, making sure that you've met the goals and that your writing is clear and succinct.
