Who's rebellion came first?

Gabriel,Nat Turner,Denmark Vesey or Charles Deslande.

I choose Nat Turner for 1, Charles Deslande for 3, Denmark Vesey for 2,and Gabriel for 4.

My teacher marked it all wrong. What did I do wrong?

The rebellion dates that I found were: 1800, 1822, 1831, and after 1831. Using the links posted by Writeacher, I'm sure you can find the right dates for each person and rebellion.

The first rebellion was Gabriel in 1800.

2nd was Charles Deslande in 1811.

3rd was Denmark Vesey in 1822.

And 4th was Nat Turner in 1831.

Thank you. That's correct right?

Yes. Those dates are correct.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like you incorrectly matched the rebels with the order of their rebellions. Let's go through the correct order of their rebellions:

1. Gabriel's Rebellion: Gabriel Prosser led a slave rebellion in Virginia in 1800. It was one of the earliest known organized slave revolts in the United States.
2. Denmark Vesey's Rebellion: Denmark Vesey organized a planned slave uprising in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1822. Unfortunately, the plot was uncovered before it could take place.
3. Nat Turner's Rebellion: Nat Turner's Rebellion, also known as the Southampton Insurrection, occurred in Virginia in 1831. Turner led a group of enslaved individuals in a violent revolt against their owners, resulting in the deaths of around 55 white individuals.
4. Charles Deslandes' Rebellion: Charles Deslandes was a leader of a slave revolt in Saint-Domingue (Haiti) in 1791. This rebellion played a significant role in the Haitian Revolution, which eventually led to the abolition of slavery and the establishment of an independent Haiti.

To summarize, the correct order of the rebellions would be:

1. Gabriel
2. Deslandes
3. Vesey
4. Turner
