It was discovered that a medical assistant discussed the medical condition of a high-profile individual in public. This resulted in the condition becoming publicized information. What were the influential factors in this situation for the medical assistant?

The medical assistant was probably looking for fame and prestige. However, his/her actions were totally unethical and illegal.

And, having three children who are doctors, I can tell you that it will not be the medical assistant that will be sued. The doctor will pay dearly, maybe with his license, but certainly with his bank account.
