Homework Help: Physical Science

Hello,
The following problem I worked out with this formula: V2=V1+gt. I came to the the answer 78.4 m/s.

Can you tell me if that is correct.

If a stone with an original velocity of 0 is falling from a ledge and takes 8 seconds to hit the ground, What is the final velocity of the stone?
