Well as you know there are 60 minutes in one hour.
you have 6:30 (6 is in the hour side and 30 in the minute side)
you must add 47 to the minutes side which will give you a number greater than 60 and since 60 minutes is an hour you must convert the 60 minutes to an hour and add it to the 6 (in the hour side). once you are done putting the 60 mintes into the hour side you will have restant minutes which you must place in the minute side. send me your answer and I will tell you if it is right.
