intergrate the following:

a) (y+1)^-1 dy
b) (1+1/x) dx

I think the answers are:

a)ln(y+1) + C
b)x + ln (x) + C

but I am not to sure about them. Can you please tell me if they are right/wrong and if wrong, show me how to get it/them right....
