How do I solve: 4x^3 is less than x

well I graphed the two functions. The right is a straight line, y=x

The left will hit the first three times.
you see immediately that it hits at x = 0
then for the other two, divide both sides by x
4 x^2 = 1
so x = +1/2 and x=-1/2
When x is negative big, 4x^3 is below x so if x is less than 1/2 , 4x^3 is less than x
between x = -1/2 and x = 0, 4x^3 is greater than x
between x = 0 and x = 1/2, 4x^3 is less than x
when x is greater than 1/2, 4x^3 is greater than x
