What would be the daily recommendation for Gatorade?

What is the Daily recommendation for PowerAde?

Humans have done remarkably well over the course of evolutionary time without either, that is, zero.

So whose recommendation are you listening to? If I were the manufacturer, I would recommend it consumed in great quantities each day.

This reminds me of vitamin recommendations, if you read the bottle, it never says do not take this product, eat balanced healthy meals. The vitamin bottles assume you get no vitamins from food, then tell you how much of their product will give you the daily MDR established by the goverment. Nice for sales, isn't it.

It depends to what extent..for an athlete, it would be a totally different question then for an average joe..

To find the daily recommendation for Gatorade and PowerAde, you can refer to the nutritional information provided on their respective packaging or official websites. Generally, the daily recommendation for sports drinks like Gatorade and PowerAde can vary depending on various factors such as age, gender, activity level, and overall health. However, I can provide you with some general guidelines.

Gatorade recommends consuming their drinks based on your hydration needs and activity level. For moderate-intensity activities lasting less than an hour, they suggest consuming about 20 ounces (590 mL) of Gatorade per hour. For longer, more intense activities, especially in hot or humid conditions, they recommend consuming additional amounts based on your sweat rate and individual tolerance.

PowerAde, on the other hand, does not provide specific daily recommendations on their packaging or website. However, similar to Gatorade, PowerAde can be consumed based on individual hydration needs during physical activities.

Remember, it's always important to listen to your body and stay adequately hydrated by consuming fluids like water, electrolyte drinks, or sports drinks as needed, especially during intense physical activities or in hot environments. It's also a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or a sports nutritionist for personalized recommendations based on your specific needs.
