a (x,y)=(y,x)

b (x,y)=(-x,y)

c (x,y)=(-x,-y)

d (x,y)=(x,-y)

Reflection means flipping a figure over. So I made a mistake. I think the answer is c. Is this right?

**Michael**, Friday, November 23, 2007 at 6:59pmNo, the answer is not c. Try drawing a diagram (like a triangle) on a coordinate plane and then flip it over the x-axis. That will help you to visualize what is happening.

**Michael**, Friday, November 23, 2007 at 7:04pmPlease explain your thought process so I know you're not just guessing.

**keisha**, Friday, November 23, 2007 at 7:08pmSince reflection means flipping a figure, x can be flipped over as -x and y will stay as y.

**Michael**, Friday, November 23, 2007 at 7:32pmThat's the right logic. Good job. :)
